Classic Walking Tour of Stockholm

Thank you, Adding:tour team for an amazing classic walking tour of Stockholm. Our tour guide Rachel was just wonderful; extremely knowledgeable and she demonstrated a huge amount of patience as she answered all our questions in detail. The walking tour of the Stockholm Old Town was perfectly timed to the changing of the King’s guards. Fantastic to be so near the action. Rachel took us up past Slussen to the best spot for an amazing photo opportunity of all of Stockholm. Then she walked us back through the narrow alleys of the Old Town and finished the tour at the foot of the Royal Castle. We were a small group of just four, hence we had all our fair share of Rachel’s informative and kind attention. Rachel also walked us back to our hotel after the tour finished. We felt very safe and well looked after. Every visitor to Stockholm should take this tour. Ask for Rachel when you book yours. Highly recommended.

A Great Way to Learn Your Way Around a New City

Rachel was a wonderful tour guide who showed us around Stockholm. She showed us how to navigate by church steeples, told us all the interesting history of the sights, and gave us recommendations of other places to go and places to eat. She was very personable and truly knowledgeable about the history of Stockholm and was accommodating to show us other sites nearby. We definitely recommend her tour.

Informative and Enjoyable Tour

We had a wonderful 3-hour walking tour with our guide, Rachel. She was a wealth of knowledge, was very personable, and had a good sense of humour. Meet up was not a problem. We walked through downtown Stockholm and spent time at City Hall where we saw numerous bridal parties, so pretty. Walked along the water and made our way to the old town. Spent a lot of time there and learned a lot about the history as well as where to shop. It was thoroughly enjoyable.

Fantastic Walking Tour of Stockholm

We had a wonderful morning/early afternoon spent walking around Stockholm with our guide, Rachel. Rachel was extremely knowledgeable about Swedish and Scandinavian history. The content was pitched at a perfect level and Rachel was happy to answer our many questions and give us an insight into life in Stockholm and Sweden in general. She also took us to where Greta Thunberg was protesting that day near the royal palace, so we got a peek of her too! We also picked up some invaluable recommendations from Rachel for other things to do and places to eat, etc. Highly recommended.

Friendly and Knowledgeable Guide

Memorable First Day in Stockholm

I took this tour on my first day in Stockholm. My walking tour of Stockholm with Rachel was fantastic! I learned so much about Stockholm’s history, took wonderful photos and got great bearings of the city’s layout. Rachel provided excellent recommendations for food, accessing public transportation, and special Christmas activities that were happening. She was very kind and a wonderful conversationalist. Amazing Tour of Stockholm Old Town and Surroundings

We had the most amazing tour of Stockholm Old Town and surroundings. Our guide Rachel was very knowledgeable about history and current affairs. She provided excellent advice on where to go and not to go in Stockholm. Rachel walked us back to our hotel after the tour, which was very helpful as we were afraid to get lost. Awesome Tour Guide Rachel

Our guide Rachel was awesome. She took us from Slussen, the new lock currently being constructed between Lake Malaren and the Baltic Sea, through the Old Town with all its historic sites via Riddarholmen, the houses of parliament area, to the Stockholm City Hall. She managed to navigate with great skill throughout the tour, avoiding crowded streets while still not missing any of the many interesting sites. Rachel is very well-versed in all the historic facts, which she presents with skill and good humour. She is also up-to-date with the current affairs of Stockholm. We learned so much from her and had even more fun. Rachel is a great tour guide and entertainer. Ask for Rachel when you book your tour. We highly recommend Adding:tours and Rachel.
