What a magical trip through historic Stockholm! Kenneth led an engagingly entertaining and educational look at significant events across Swedish history as we made our way through Gamla Stan and surrounding neighborhoods. What I most appreciated were his personal anecdotes as we walked past significant places from his youth growing up in Stockholm. Being of a similar age, I appreciated these personal touches describing his experiences as a boy and could reflect back on my own experiences growing up at a similar time, but in a place half a world away. Lastly, thanks for the great recommendation for what to eat when the tour was over! I was more adventurous because of it and was richly rewarded with a delicious traditional Swedish meal! I highly recommend this tour, Adding:tours and, of course, Kenneth!

Thank you, Adding:tours team for an amazing walking tour of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. My tour guide Rachel was an absolute delight, and was detailed in the subject matter, with knowledgeable tidbits thrown in along the way! I appreciate her patience as I took pictures along the way and asked multiple questions not just about the walk but also about the general knowledge of the city. Rachel took me to so many beautiful views of the city, something I’d never have chances upon on my own! We finished the tour at a Church that was so beautiful and a much-needed wind down for me personally. She was patient as I spent a few minutes reflecting on my life in the peace and quiet of the Church, for which I’m very appreciative. Rachel was not just informative, but also extremely kind and attentive! We ended the tour with a Fika, yet another tradition that Rachel brought me up to speed on! Highly recommended.

I had an absolutely amazing experience on December 31st, 2025. Kenneth was incredibly welcoming and friendly. He shared so many surprising facts about the city’s history and present day, as well as Sweden’s cultural icons. He noticed the smallest details around Stockholm and woved them into captivating stories. Those 3 hours felt like they flew by in minutes. I definitely recommend choosing Adding:tours as your tour company when you visit Stockholm. Thanks a lot to Kenneth for escorting me to the Ice bar!

I would rate it 6/6 there were only 5 circles available!
Outstanding historical information and insight presented by guide who was knowledgeable and lives in Sweden . Kenneth also accommodated for the gusty snow conditions which we were very unaccustomed to from a Hot southern hemisphere climate. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Stockholm.

Kenneths background added depth to a wonderful tour The size limit is a policy of theirs and worth the spend It makes it a more intimate tour and gives time for everyone to ask questions We appreciated the coffee stop to warm up We felt this tour company really has it going on Next time we are here, we are going to ask for a tailored tour!

Kenneth was my guide, as the tour was only me, and I feel like i ended feeling Kenneth as my friend. We walked through the old town, and it was incredible the wealth of information Kenneth had and shared. He went beyond the tour and gave me recommendations of restaurants, things to do, and instructions to my hotel.
I highly recommend anyone coming to Stockholm for the first time no to miss this tour as your first option.

Kenneth went above and beyond before the tour even started giving us lots of information on how to get around in Stockholm and places to visit.
This tour was perfect introduction to Gamla Stan in Stockholm.
It was supposed to be a group tour, but we ended up with our own private tour.
Kenneth is a lovely man , great character . He wants to give you the experience that he would want if he did a tour.
Would highly recommend wish we could have done more tours with him.

A great way to see the city. Our guide was amazing, we learnt so much about Swedish history, culture, architecture and current affairs. It was also fun. We also had some good recommendations for other places to visit (inside) and restaurants to try. I would thoroughly recommend our guide and tour.

We just came back from a wonderful evening spent with our amazing guide, Kenneth. This was the evening to remember: magnificent Stockholm with very interesting, professional, and knowledgeable person making his city alive for us. So many interesting stories and details about history, streets, buildings and personalities! Highly recommend this tour and I hope to come back to Stockholm for more!

Freshly off an eight-hour flight from the US, our family of six was still a little groggy when we met with Rachel, our excellent Stockholm tour guide. We covered a lot of ground in three hours and saw parts of this beautiful city we might have missed without Rachel’s expertise. This tour is the perfect way to get a quick snapshot of the city if you don’t have a lot of time. Rachel is a passionate Stockholm booster and her historical, cultural and geographical knowledge was remarkable. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious! We all learned a lot about Sweden’s wonderful capital and vowed to return someday. Thank you, Rachel! Hope you are doing well.
